The African Fish Decoration by Batela is made of wood using the inlay technique. The wood is therefore inlaid, particular and unique every piece that is created. This technique was born in the 16th century in Florence and Naples. Technique initially used on solid marble slabs with designs formed by embedded marbles, jasper and semiprecious stones. Once inlaid they were used to embellish floors, altars and noble houses.
The wooden fish Batela therefore has colored streaks such as sky blue and brick red, has a length of 20 cm. Placed on an iron rod, it is 17 cm high overall.
Perfect for creating a seaside setting in your beach house, it can add a touch of color to the sideboard. entrance or on the worktop in the kitchen.
