Faster cooking and practical, cooking in a pan is a convenience. Especially when you have little time and you come back from the office or you have to do with household chores and you find yourself at lunchtime with many ideas but few minutes to make them.

So here is the solution, cook on the stove without having to wait for long cooking in the oven. We present in this article 5 recipes that should be done in the oven but that, instead, we will cook in a pan.

Eggplant pie.

Do you like the idea of making a parmigiana but need a more fast solution? Here is the eggplant pie in the pan. This second course is to be prepared really last minute, simple fast and very tasty.

Excellent also in a vegetarian version, without ham, the eggplant pie ensures a truly complete meal. How to prepare it?

First of all wash and dry the eggplants. Slice them thinly and place them on a plate. In a bowl, mix the cherry tomatoes, quickly crushed with a fork, with béchamel sauce, oil and salt.

In the meantime, cut 30 gr of mozzarella, cooked ham to taste and grated Parmesan cheese. Proceeding in layers, assemble the eggplant pie.

Put a 20/22 cm frying pan on the stove, such as the super strong Lagostina Tempra line frying pan with aluminum body and non-stick coating. Its 5-layer bottom ensures, in fact, an even cooking and will not risk to burn the pie on one side.

Place the béchamel sauce on the bottom, then a layer with eggplant, cooked ham, mozzarella, parmesan, basil and salt until the end of the ingredients.

Put the lid on and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

Then cook it without the lid for 10 more minutes by raising the flame. When cooked, add the remaining mozzarella. Let the eggplant pie rest in the pan for just 10 minutes and then serve at the table. Success is assured!

Zucchini pie.

This is also a recipe to prepare in 5 minutes, few ingredients and perfect cooking in the pan. You can also prepare it in the morning and store it in a freshness-saving container like the ones from Emsa and then serve it cold at the table or heat it in the microwave in the container itself.

Place the eggs in a tall bowl with salt, pepper and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix everything together and then add the sifted flour and incorporate with a fork.

Clean the zucchini and grate them into julienne strips, add them to the mixture and mix everything together.

Put some seed oil in a 24 cm pan, pour half of the mixture into it, then lay the cooked ham and sliced mozzarella on top. Finally, cover with the remaining mixture.

The pie should cook about 12 minutes per side, taking care to flip it when it turns golden brown.

Serve the stuffed zucchini pie cut into slices after letting it rest 10 minutes.

Puff pastry cake.

Still on the savory cake genre, we propose the puff pastry cake in a pan filled with salami or ham and cheese. It is prepared quickly and cooked in the pan quickly.

Cut the scamorza into thin slices and prepare the salami. Place the puff pastry in a 24/26 cm pan without adding oil to the pan.

At this point add the scamorza and salami filling. Simply close the savory pie with the other puff pastry and roll up the edges well. Be careful to flatten them slightly to prevent the stringy mozzarella from escaping.

The cake cooks in a pan on a gentle flame for about 8 minutes per side, always with the lid closed.

When it seems to be well cooked, check the cooking by raising it with a Brabantia silicone spatula trying not to break it, and move it to a serving dish with the help of the lid.

Pizza in a pan.

The fourth recipe is a great classic of baking. Pizza! It seems absurd and almost sacrilegious, but even this sacred dish of our cuisine can be cooked in a pan. Let's see how, starting with the dough that you can make with the classic doses.

Place the 00 flour in a bowl and make a hole in the center. Add the extra virgin olive oil, water at room temperature and instant yeast for pies.

Mix and then knead with your hands to obtain a homogeneous dough that should rest for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce to season it and cut the mozzarella cheese. Now roll out the dough obtaining a fairly thin sheet.

Heat the Ballarini non-stick hotplate and place one pizza in the pan at a time. Cook for 5 minutes on one side then turn it over and season with all the ingredients, cook for another 5 minutes on low heat then close with a lid and cook some more so that the mozzarella melts and the pizza is ready!

Cuddly cake in a pan.

It sounds strange but even a sweet cake can be baked in a pan.

    Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and mix with a whisk, add the oil, milk and finally the flour sifted with cocoa and baking powder.

    Grease the pan well, pour the mixture and arrange the chopped chocolate on top. At this point, cover the pan and let it cook for about 40 minutes. It will be well cooked when it will detach from the walls of the pan.

    Depending on the degree of cooking you can decide whether to turn it to caramelize a little bit.
